How to make your phone more anonymous

This guide will deal only with Android based apps and operating systems. If you have an Apple product then you are on your own...along with Apple and China.

Why is kicking out big tech an issue if you have nothing to hide? Glenn Greenwald had an interesting take on it in a TED talk.

“I always say the same thing to them. I write down my email address and I say, ‘Email me the passwords to all of your email accounts. I want to read what I want to read and publish whatever I find interesting. After all, if you’re not a bad person, you should have nothing to hide.”

Then we have the head of Google Schmidt saying stuff like,

“If you are doing something that you dont want people to know then maybe you shouldnt be doing it in the first place.”

THE HEAD OF GOOGLE… Schmidt RESTRICTS his employees from talking to press, but tells you to not worry about what his company knows about YOU. The most recent Google whistle blower(Vorhies) confirms the type of stuff “conspiracy nuts” have been warning about for years.

Zuckerberg bought his house and all four adjacent houses for PRIVACY. Have you read the Facebook TOS lately? FacebookMessenger censors your PRIVATE messages and has been doingit for years.

Why else?

Apple and Google have sold out to China. China is using a “social credit score” to restrict the Chinese from traveling and using the basic monetary system. Facebook is establishing its own Supreme Court for content AND its own crypto-currency. They are setting up their globalist technocracy right under our noses.

Operating system:

There are a few secure options available. Graphene, Lineage, and Copperhead Graphene OS  is by far the most widely used system because it works on the majority of phones. Copperhead is primarily for Nexus and Pixels and more of a corporate option. Lineage appears to have the most phone options. The Pixel 3a(<--You would need this specific model) is currently the best option to use with Lineage.  On Graphene the Pixel 4a is currently the best option.  Not because it is the newest, but because it has a better track record than the other Pixels, an amazing camera and it is priced right.  Graphene is also recommended by Michael Bazzell.  

Apps:

What apps can you use that to replace Google services? I will make a list of things that I have found to be useful, and you can use the “Ctrl+F” search of the page or “find on page” option on mobile to replace your particular app. Some of the apps can be obtained on the Google app store, but I highly recommend getting them from the F-droid store, but if you want try them out then get them on the G app store.

Chrome/ Browser – Brave (Tor Browser for increased online anonymity, much slower)

Podcasts – AntennaPod

Messenger – Signal (works on Iphone too)

YouTube – NewPipe(F Droid) or LBRY

Gmail – ProtonMail (works on Iphone too)

RSS Reader(news) – Feeder(F Droid)

Google Keep(notes) Notepad(F Droid)
Media(audio/Video) Player - VLC 

Google Maps – OSMand(This one will be rough. You will need to know the actual address and lose features like near me or searching by business names(lookup addresses on web. Ever wonder why websites have store locators still?), but actual navigation is really good. Small price?)

Orbot is a app to use that can send the apps traffic(you might like but cant find an alternative) thru the Tot network and act as a VPN for your data.

Level 1:

Are you ready to become a google ghost? It might seem like a lot of info and stuff to think about. Just remember, the longest journeys starts with a single step, or three in this case. So lets start with a browser that kicks google, ads and invasive cookies out.

Brave – Has a simple import function and can even be synced with a desktop build(dont forget to get the desktop version) like Chrome, but that kinda defeats the point, right? Here is the key. Make sure to change the search engine to “DuckDuckGo” instead of Google. Google has been caught manipulating search results aside from paid results but in general to change subconscious perception of ideas they dont agree with and the most damaging being voting.

Then lets switch over to a messenger app that doesnt leave a copy on the google server and uses end to end encryption(assuming the receiver has the app as well, SPREAD THE WORD!).

Signal - When you switch over to Signal as default messenger then it will delete all the texts on your previous default messenger. Make sure there arent any old messages you need(screencap any needed) then make it default. Make sure to get your friends to switch because it can only end to end encrypt if they are using signal as well! SPREAD THE WORD! Share this article. I wrote this because there isnt a good comprehensive start point for this type of move.

Over time slowly migrate your emails that come in to the new email that doesnt read your contents and keeps the traffic encrypted.

ProtonMail – Google can find out tons about you by monitoring your online purchases and basic metadata. Also, with this make sure to delete any old unused accounts especially ones you have made purchases with(Have a Redbox account out there?). Security breaches are becoming more and more frequent. It is a good time to cut those loose ends.

Those three steps are simple and painless(well except the email). Try them! “People who dont move wont notice their chains.” -Unknown

What is an ISMI Catcher, and how can it affect me?

What is an ISMI Catcher?

An ISMI Catcher is International Mobile Subscriber Identity-catcher most commonly referred to as the model name of “Stingray”. Here is a leaked user manual.

Well what is am ISMI?

An ISMI is a number that can be used to identify you. The ISMI Catcher can also be used to find your phones IMEI which tells the ISMI Catcher exactly what phone you are using and what kind of chipsets it has which lets them know what vulnerabilities your phone is susceptible to.

This doesnt happen around me…right? According to the ACLU its all over the US and down to the LOCAL POLICE LEVEL and of course your alphabet agencies who of course claim they dont need a warrant if you are in public.

Ya, but they wouldnt use it on ME...right? There is the big privacy rights issue regarding this. They cant target individuals with this technology. If they use it in an area that they deem necessary they collect on EVERYBODY. Say you go to a gathering and a domestic terror group like BLM is there. The fuzz flips one of these on and your traffic is compromised too. All traffic within the range of the device(usually in a large SUV) is collected and sorted through.

Other uses include but are not limited to:

- Driving around looking for a specific ISMI to serve a warrant(they are using them with AIRPLANES).

- Scanning at protests to ID participants

- Looking for stolen mobiles

- Confirming a targets location prior to “direct action”

- Location tracking within 20 meters.

ISMI Catchers have two basic modes.

Passive Mode: is the most common and the hardest to detect. Basically, it turns all your phone traffic into a radio station they can tune into. What you are saying on voice, what you are texting or what you are looking at on the internet(this is where my simple increased encryption layers article is useful). THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!

Active Mode: is a bit more difficult and can take control of your phone. Taking control of a phone usually requires an entry point. So you might get a weird text with a link in it and when you click it nothing will happen or you go check the info it says and it is inaccurate that would be the entry point. Law enforcement(even at the fed level) is unlikely to do this. Active mode is more of a criminal act or CIA/NSA level of involvement.

How do you know if your phone is affected?

Here are a few simple tests that MIGHT mean your are being snooped.

-Phone warms up when not in use(Could also be updates. Dont freak out.)

-Battery drains faster than normal

-Degraded data – CURRENTLY, It is almost impossible for hackers to pull data out of your phone in LTE aside from get your IMSI and gps coordinates(tracking).

-Degraded voice

-No 911 service

-If you send a text the receiver gets it from a number(4 digits or so) other than yours(good way to test)

From my research in going thru hours of black hat hackers talking about how to hack with these devices, it appears that 4G needs to be downgraded in order to get into. One thing to look for is loss of 4G when it really shouldnt be gone and it doesnt come back regardless of moving location. The attack sends a signal to your phone which tells it that there is an issue with the network and only 2G is available. When this happens your phone will not go back into 4G with out a restart. When was the last time you restarted your phone? Another issue with the ISMI Catchers is they read the data because it isnt encrypted. Using end to end encryption apps for things like calls and texts and general phone traffic is pretty simple. It also ties into stopping Google from spying on your phone(<--article HIGHLY recommended) and becoming a google ghost. The transition is seamless.

You can also get apps to help you detect these devices, but their effectiveness is debatable because the technology is constantly evolving and requires you to pay attention and take action. But the apps could be useful in certain large cities where they might get used frequently(DC, Chicago, Boston, NYC, ect… Check out the links to take the red pill). I would like someone at a Portland(pretty sure they use them there) style rally to test the software to see how effective it is.

Apps:

AISMICD – (only available thru side loading) Not Recommended.

SnoopSnitch – on Gplay but limited without root and Qualcomm chipset. If you dont know what those are dont bother downloading. Not recommended.

CellSpy Catcher – Seems to be the easiest, Try this one.

How the app works is you would need to detect anomalies in towers. After some time you would need to compare the data against known data and the app would be able to recognize anomalies in cell towers strength based on location(they can mimic towers) and new unknown towers that might pop up on a regular root.

Ok, but only the good guys have these cuz they are illegal...right?

LOL, really? Anyone with a little bit of cash and know how from spoofing rings to foreign spies and you can even make one at home or really build one.

How could I get around it?

A Faraday cage blocks electromagnetic signals aside from light. It is kind of like a shield on a space ship common in scifi movies. The enemy fires a colorful ball at the ship and the ball hits the shield and is dispersed around the ship. Aside from the excessive camera shaking that is generally how it works. The only real difference is that the shield works both ways. Nothing goes in and nothing comes out. No return fire. So this is best when you are sleeping or traveling to a location incognito.

Where to buy The Simply Co products

I like other Americans was curious who Greta Thunberg(you know, like everything else the kids today are into a "90s remake" of Severn Suzuki) was and why this foreign child was given an audience with our government representatives. After learning how disturbed young Greta was from being indoctrinated by climate change doomsday propaganda, I came across a TED talk by Lauren Singer. As soon as she held up a mason jar and said that it was three years of trash, my BS detector went off. She continued on about how she DIYed her products to reduce waste and in general reduced her consumption of things by reducing what she had and buying secondhand. She continued on about starting a company called The Simply Co. as a way to reduce plastic waste. Think about it. You are going to start a company with a philosophy of buying less. It just didnt make sense. So I began to look into it.

The Simply Co. was started by Lauren Singer a self described “eco warrior” or as I call them “eco terrorsts” similar to the Dayton, El Paso, Christchurch and Galic Fest shooters. It started out as a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $10,000 on 10/29/2014. It appears to have made its original goal of $10,000 in 48 hours. The goal was changed to $40,000 and the campaign ended up gathering a total of $41,719 from 820 backers by 11/28/2019. It began shipping items in 06/15/2015.(S)

Many people complained to not have received their items as of sometime in 2016. Others complained they were receiving items "almost 2 years" after the campaign completed. While others complained that they ended up spending "$172 for a t-shirt...and a cotton tote." in addition to original price of the detergent. By 2016 a few people were still complaining of not receiving their products or refunds. No further Kickstarter posts were visible beyond 2016. Instagram has a post of a person trying to order on 08/19/2017 and a reply saying they were out of stock. Instagram also has multiple unanswered posts looking for purchasing options in 2019 with no responses.(S)

The worst part was the detergent only had THREE ingredients. BakingSoda, Washing Soda and Castile Soap(and Lavender if scented) Click the links you can see prices for probably a years worth of product if you mixed yourself because you only use a tablespoon per load. So for a one month supply at $25 PLUS SHIPPING you can have $5 worth of product! People are SOOOOOOOooooo gullible. She raised $10k in 48 hours! With $40 you could make around 8lbs or more of powdered ALL NATURAL detergent. The craziest part is this combination isnt even that good and will make your whites dingy. There is a better DIY version here if you want something that has been refined.

The Simply Co Twitter was started in May 2014. It made a final post on 02/13/2017 with a total of 2.6k followers.(S)

The Simply Co's last Facebook post was 01/08/2018 with 30.1k likes.(S) The Facebook page’s pinned post claims that Package Free Shop sells The Simply Co items “in bulk”. A quick search of the site does not yield any items with The Simply Co brand. A search only returns “Natural Wool Dryer Balls”.

The Simply Co YouTube was started in May 2014. it made its last post on 05/02/2016. The account has 813 subscribers with 2 videos and 19.3k views.(S)

The Simply Co Instagram has 49k followers and 603 posts with a final post on 01/19/2018.

TheSimplyCo.com website redirects to BeddingandBeyond.com which appears to be an unrelated Amazon affiliate link site that directs to multiple organic detergents and random bed options. The smart move would have been to redirect traffic from TheSimplyCo to her new endeavor PackageFreeShop.

The Simply Co appears to be completely dead 2 years after its creation despite a full media blitz. Singer appeared on every major news show, a 13 minute Ted Talk in 2015(where she claims to put 3 years of waste into a 16 oz mason jar.) and the usual sites when it comes to promoting “green living”. The entire media campaign was very “feelsy” and seemed like it lacked substance and was all marketing. It all reminds me of when I compared the AquagearPitcher to the Propur pitcher. Aquagear has a very “feelsy” marketing campaign and filters were $10 more than the Propur. Today there are no products and no website for The Simply Co aside from a neglected social media presence and a mere mention as Lauren being the founder of the “company” on her blog, Wikipedia and LinkedIn.

Lauren Singer currently is a blogger at “trashisfortossers” which appears to just be a way to drive traffic to PackageFreeShop her latest company that also has a location in Brooklyn, New York. She is one of those Instagram/Pintrest people that makes hippie type things(Van dwelling, odd ways of recycling, ect) look glamorous. Her PFS social media presence has much more traffic with about ~4-5m views of a bunch of 1-2 minute videos.

Once again the idea behind the store is a poor business model. It is all about minimalism and not buying stuff. Having a store front is probably the worst part of the business model. PFS was started in 2017 along with some zero waste fashion designer(HYPOCRISY! Fashion runs on a seasonal rotation), and just as before, she made the appearances on all the MSM shows. The biggest issue is this is not the era of the storefront it is the era of the webfront. Even PFS lacks wide distribution to make it last. There is ZERO presence of their products(because they really dont have anything they just sell other peoples crap and rebrand Chinese items) on Amazon, BUT there are similar products and more variety available on Amazon. I would imagine the most popular items on FPS are below and here is how much you can save on Amazon.

BambooToothbrush(similar item) - $3 per brush with a 4.5* rating

MeowMeowTweetdeodorant - $0 same Price

DavidsToothpaste - $.05

Soap - $2 from manufacturer(which is odd MSRP usually has a built in profit for resellers)

And tons of overpriced wood products. ($6 door stop…)

Dental Lace floss was $2 cheaper on PFS.

It is kind of funny because you are supposed to be able to save 15% by reducing the packaging cost, but at this store you typically spend more.

You know what the kicker is?  PFS DOESNT sell any detergent. Amazon does.  Try Charlies.

The basic answer is there is no more The Simply Co, but for low priced more environmentally friendly products Amazon is there. 

The idea of zero waste is kind of lost in having a traditional storefront. Bea Johnson was mentioned by Singer in her Ted talk. A year later Bea Johnson mentions the people she has inspired from her book one of which has a small zero waste shop. Johnson does not mention Singer. I wonder if there is drama there?

The Mandalorian and Boba Fett gear and cosplay and behind the scenes sneak peek!

Ever since 2003 and the release of Knights of the Old Republic(KOTOR) video game and learning the basic history of the Mandilorians, I was convinced that telling that story would make a great trilogy(back then video companies werent making high quality shows and the Star Wars universe wasnt being explored like it is today)The Mandalorian(2019) looks to be an interesting show and "Boba Fett"(2021) should be a neat movie.  Check out the trailer.

The Mandalorian is already getting amazing reviews because it has ACTION! The best part of the Star Wars movie series was the Clone Wars. Then they made a animated series(or 2) about that period of time.  They were pretty good, but they were animated and limited due to their target audience.  This will hopefully be a deep movie. Maybe this is the person who gives Boba Fett his identity as a lead up to the Boba Fett movie?

The Mandalorian behind the scenes shots are pretty interesting as well.  Where will the story take us?

Boba Fett is everyone's favorite bounty hunter.  He was so cool they cloned him and made an army to rule the galaxy! The movie could be amazing if they keep out the SJW stuff they scattered in "Solo".  The most iconic part of Boba Fett is his helmet. His helmet is by far the coolest in the movie series and the close second is the clones. For all those Boba Fett cosplayers and collectors there is a new item Star Wars is releasing.

Hit the link to see more angles.  This is the first Boba Fett helm to show extensive battle damage and look real on the inside!  It is much more detailed and set in the Empire Strikes Back time period.

He appears to be wearing grey tactical pants and Shirt.  Or you could go with a flight suit if you want a closer color match. I like the pants and shirt option better.
The body armor isnt available any where and if it is it looks super cheap.  You will need to DIY it to get a decent product. Using foam to make his armor will probably yield the best results. Check out this vid series

The best water filters for the money

Whether you are playing Fallout76, camping,  prepping for the looming World War 3 or just live in a an average city, you know you will need to filter water.  From the very basic ones you can craft in Fallout 76 to the best reverse osmosis filters you can put on your house the quality of the water is important depending on the scarcity of the water supply.  In a extreme survival situation a quick pour through style filter from Fallout 76 could actually remove large debris. I wouldn't recommend drinking the product, but if all you have is a puddle then it is something. Reminds me to make sure I keep a LifeStraw(Best <$20 you can spend!) in my car to avoid that situation. But the survival filters are for another article.

In everyday life however, there are much more civilized methods of filtering water.  The biggest things most people want to eliminate are lead and fluoride.  You have probably heard of Aquagear, care plus, quooker, pitchers, gravity or a whole house water filters.  Each of these have their place in life, but what is best for you and your situation. So lets take a look at those situations.

I hate to break it to you, but if you live on a city or municipality that adds fluoride to your water then you NEED a whole house reverse osmosis water filter and a way to add back the minerals the reverse osmosis process removes. A recent Harvard study in a long multinational list of studies shows yet again that fluoride reduces IQ especially in the developing brain. It basically says that pregnant women and young children impacts the IQ of the child upwards of an IQ point a year.  Make sure you get 8 glasses a day and brush your teeth 3 times a day with that candy flavored toothpaste with the cartoon on it(fluoride content in toothpaste is many magnitudes higher than in water).

If reverse osmosis is what you are looking for then check out this highly rated system. Why is it recommended? The key to reverse osmosis in your kitchen is remineralization. You can drink pure water, but it will throw off your bodies PH balance.  Reverse Osmosis removes EVERYTHING. You are drinking straight water also referred to as "dead water", but your body needs a specific PH from the water you take in to help balance your body. 

 iSpring has a 7 stage RO with UV and remineralization under $300 and highly rated!

Reverse osmosis with UV like the iSpring above require power and water coming into your house.  At a minimum EVERY house that is on "city water" should have a fluoride removal(95% removal is better than 0% removal) system.  The Woder system is a simple install that will doesn't require any mess. You just get a bucket, turn off the water, unscrew the cold line(bucket is for dripping but a towel would even work), screw in the inlet then the outlet and let it run briefly check for leaks and you are done. This system should last about 2 years or less than 30 cents a day!  It pays for itself.

If you want a more versatile system for great drinking water regardless of the source then a gravity fed system is the way to go.  You can fill it from the tap or the gutter or wherever else you get it.  Right now the leader is Propur.  They have a filter that removes all the bad stuff and leaves the goods stuff and significantly reduces the bad stuff that you cant get out without reverse osmosis.  Remember there is a slight(still amazing water) downgrade in water quality due to the versatility of the system. In the gravity fed field you need to pick the one that is right for your situation based on the amount of people that will utilize the system.  All of the systems are generally the same just have a larger reservoir.  Here are the Propur options based on users:

1-2 people
2-4 people
Accessories:
Backup filters(Should last 6 months or more with daily use)
Stand
Fill level spigot

If these are too much for you and you want to start with a pitcher there are options for you as well.  Although, one gallon at a time means this is purely for filling bottles and drinking a glass or two at a time.  One gallon will go quickly, but if you want the best for the money then Aquagear is by far the highest rated pitcher.  Brita, zerowater, and Pur dont even claim to reduce fluoride.  They just to improve taste is certain situations.  All of their filters are around the $10 mark. None of those are worth bothering unless taste is your only issue possibly from a well system.

There appears to be a lot of advertising behind Aquagear aimed at women, and this is the only product they offer.  So I am instantly skeptical.  I did notice that Propur has a pitcher option and it is rated just as high, but it doesnt have the massive amount of ratings.  The Propur pitcher is the same price, but has filters priced $10 CHEAPER than the heavily advertised Aquagear. They appear to last about the same amount of time.  Propur has a other proven filter products, and doesnt have a feels marketing campaign behind it.  The cost shifting to the filters appears to be the catch. I would go with the proven name Propur.

Some people are skeptical of this being fear mongering, but the simple fact of the matter is things do happen.  Think back to "water boil advisories" in your local area, issues like Flint,MI, cancer causing agents in water, Cryoto isnt just in pools. Deaths can be directly related and indirectly related(cancer above).  Have you ever heard of a water system being audited and fixed on its own?  Neither have I.  These type of things usually come out after the fact and after a coverup(depending on severity).  The biggest idea here is to be prepared and not completely dependent on others for your survival. Can your drinking water kill you?

"Godzilla: King of Monsters" and radical environmentalism

Godzilla: King of the Monsters(2019)

In this movie about a giant lizard. The main plot is centered around a growing violent movement based on communism called radical environmentalism. Radical environmentalism is not someone who recycles or who argues for solar panels.  Radical environmentalism is someone who advocates and acts to promote the planet above the lives of humans.  The El Paso Walmart shooter, Dayton shooter and the Garlic Festival shooter all held these radical environmental views.  

The monsters in the movie are representations of natural disasters.  The movie refers to the bad guy as an "eco-terrorist". The female scientist, who we later find out is in on it, says she wants to use the "monsters" to wipe out humanity and reset the earth. She claims the monsters were awakened by humans activity harming the environment. The monsters were the fail safe to protect the earth.
They didn't focus on each monsters representation.  

Rodan(flaming pterodactyl) seemed to be volcanoes. 

Zero(3 headed dragon) was associated with weather or large storms. 

At one point they said the monsters are causing every type of natural disaster known to man.

 
The movie further reinforces the idea that man is a plague on the earth. The same idea pushed out by the likes of AOC(a member of the DSA), Robert "Beto" Orourke and Bill Gates to name a few. They all preach the world ending in 10-12 years or the need to reduce the human population
In the end, Godzilla goes Dragon Ball Z or something. I'm not sure what Godzilla represents other than radiation. But the bad guys kept saying "Long live the king" then after Godzilla wins all the monsters bow down to him. Which doesn't make sense because he is GODzilla and they reference the ancients worshiping the monsters as gods. 

At the end they hint at a face off between Godzilla and King Kong. Long live the king would have made more sense with Kong. Were there no quotes about gods available? Guess they just needed trailer moments.

I found the young female Ben Affleck to be annoying.  But there was an interesting part where she had a choice to go with daddy or stay with eco-terrorist mommy.  She stayed with mommy, but it was almost like there was low key mind control going on.  Then the young Ben Affleck runs off with the most important device in the world at the time and saves humanity. I almost got motion sick from my eyes rolling so hard. 

Side note - The crazy white haired scientist keeps bringing up "hollow earth" theory. Hollow earth theory was a theory the Third Reich tried to prove, and it is generally associated with the paranormal.

What were the views of the Dayton shooter?

The Dayton shooter shot 27 people(9 died) is less than 1 minute.  He had an illegally modified AR-15 with a legal 100 round drum magazine.  His gun was NOT full auto(you need an additional background check to obtain). It was semi auto just like most rifles AND handguns. 1 trigger pull equals 1 bullet fired.  The Dayton shooting over shadowed the controversial police involved shooting of Devon Bailey.

The main reason Betts did not kill more people was, because cops were making the rounds near closing times at the bar and intercepted him before he made it into the bar. Betts was chasing people into the bar as three cops shot him.  Betts had 52 bullet holes in him when he died.  It did not appear he saw the cops and was focused on the people fleeing into the bar while in pursuit.
Contrast the 30 seconds of shooting with the 6min of response time in the El Paso shooting timeline and you see how critical a quick response is.
An even more critical factor is to FIGHT BACK. Fight back against the shooters, and stop them. They are untrained amateurs who have done little if any objective research, and can be overtaken easily.  An attempted mosque shooting in Norway shortly after Dayton and El Paso was stopped by a 65 year old man. I have been preaching this since viewing the Autralia shooting video.  The Australia video should be an ad promoting concealed carry.  He was a complete amateur, but because everyone ran away, and no one challenged him; he killed over 40 people.  Tarrant dropped all of his mags in the mosque hallway, and had to return to pick up a magazine to reload each time.

BACKGROUND

Betts talked openly about killing other people.  Betts was accused of having a kill list in high school and a rape list. He liked to show mass shooting videos on first dates.  Even after this the girl has fond memories of him. She is admittedly mentally ill. Instead of distancing herself from him, she claims he was her boyfriend in and obvious attention whore move.  The girl in question was even helped him attempt to deliver a threatening letter to an ex-girlfriend. She claimed he was her boyfriend but,
"I knew then[after trying to deliver a threat to his ex] that I had to break things off with him, but I waited a few days to cool off. I wanted to wait until my fiance got back from a work trip".
Betts father was a shrink.  Betts was being treated for anxiety, and he may have had issues with being bipolar and OCD as well.

POLITICAL VIEWS

Betts was a Satanist. Betts was in a wired band and sang about weird things.  While his band mates knew the lyrics were just there to be artistically edgy, he took them to heart. He was a truly messed up individual.  He had many warning signs from threatening people is high school with his "kill list" to stalking his ex with another girl who claimed to be his girlfriend while she was engaged to another man.  Had his father recognized the signs he could have done something.  His father lets not forget was a shrink, and it was his professional job to recognize these symptoms.  How he can maintain a license after this seeing all his sons public outcries for attention, is baffling to me.

Betts was also a Antifa member.  This marks, at least, the second terrorist attack by Antifa members...besides all of the protest/counter protest mob assaults.  Betts was a Warren and Sanders supporter not unlike Hodgkinson(GOP baseball shooter). He was also a regular consumer of "Some More News".  SMN pushes the standard leftist antiTrump, "Nazi" and Abolish ICE narrative with a disheveled host that looks like Charlie from "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia".  Betts was also a self titled leftist but as mentioned above had a "rape list" while hating "racists", but randomly killed 9 people at a bar. These opposing views are yet another sign of his mental instability and how these fringe groups use the mentally unstable to carry out their goals.

If the above picture looks familiar then you recognize it from the Garlic Fest Shooter piece.  THe picture was retweeted by Betts.  The El Paso Walmart shooter, the Garlic Festival shooter and this Dayton shooter all had communist/ radical environmentalist views that echoed the Australian shooter and his manifesto.  Radical environmentalism is a HUGE threat.  Antifa has similar views that magnify these types of events. Their motto is something along the lines of "whatever means necessary".  Killing innocent humans is okay because the environment is being killed by humans.

MISCONCEPTIONS

Was it an "assault rifle"?  NO
The gun Betts used was NOT an "assault rifle". What? But i think it looks...in the words of the Rock, "It doesnt matter what you think it looks like!" If anything the weapon would be a carbine. Carbines existed back in the 1700's.  A carbine is essentially a rifle with a shorter barrel designed for shorter ranged engagements.

Was the gun bought legally?  NO
Authorities were quick to say the rifle was acquired legally, but someone is now facing up to 15 years for helping him buy it.  Anyone with basic AR knowledge looking at the gun can tell you that is not a normal AR. It has a short barrel(requires an additional background check) and for some reason a "shockwave blade" instead of an actual stock. With the modifications the gun would be registered as a rifle, but would be built as a AR pistol.  Do you think he subverted the law maliciously?  The gun was not acquired legally for three reasons.
1) The gun was illegally modified with a shorter barrel. Reports are out now that a friend who Betts frequently did drugs with bought the short barrel upper and body armor for Betts, but was unaware of his intentions to use them.  Modifying a rifle to have a shorter barrel than 16 inches is a federal crime. The gun used was an AR lower most likely registered as a rifle, but the upper was a short barrel upper designed for a SBR that requires a special tax stamp and a more in depth background check to get or an AR pistol.
2) Betts had his friend buy him the short barrel for his rifle allegedly to hide it from his parents.  Buying a gun for someone else is illegal.
3) Betts lied on the gun application.  If you could argue away the top two issues this one is irrefutable. Betts was involved with heavy drug use. Betts friend said they would do "hard drugs together. I thought acid was a hard drug.  Betts friend was a micro doser of mushrooms(just like most of silicon valley).  One of the questions(11e) on the background check to get a gun asks if you are "unlawful user of " pretty much any drug including weed. Betts would have checked yes on this even though he was doing "heavy drugs" with his friend and was on cocaine when he committed the crime.
